I hope the league in general doesn't go too overboard with alternates & specialty jerseys. It will lose it's novelty quick and fans will eventually decide to allocate that money towards the multiple streaming & subscription services required to just watch their team.

I don't hate it... I'm not convinced it's using the right colours, or maybe it is and they just need to be toned down a bit?

Sorry was going to post more, but was lucky enough to win a jersey off the back and missed a lot of the Q and A. Hopefully someone else can keep it going.

That being said both Huberdeau and Pospisil seem ready.

Don't give the organization any ideas. AI is how you end up with Oiler level ugliness.

Few quick thoughts from the thread
- Who cares what ChatGPT thinks about anything
- That's an insane amount of jersey news
- excited for the black c to return
- The fare well and welcome jerseys are hopefully one-offs with maybe a few select dates down the road but that's pretty special.

As a jersey guy I'm pretty excited. The ads are getting more gross though, the play alberta is bigger and that Suncor one looks heat pressed.

They should put all the bad ideas into a single jersey.

Alberta shoulder patch
Pedestal
Ronald McDonald colors
“Calgary” on the front.
Black pants
Cowboy boot socks

That about cover it? Or am I still missing some stuff? The 89 jerseys and the 04’s are the only two that should exist. Want to say we’ve never made the playoffs in the Blasty young gun era ones? So that can f off as well.

The Flames nailed both the 2011 and 2023 Heritage classic jerseys. The Ronald MacDonald criticisms are mostly from the insane amount of knockoffs that there are with messed up the colours. The Flames and Habs announced the event August 4th, with the Jerseys being unveiled, officially it wasn't available until December 8th but knockoffs were already out in the city in early September.

Both are beautiful up close as well when you can really appreciate the stitching and the detail

Agreed, that 2011 jersey is awesome too as it's a nod to the Calgary Tigers. I hope the next time they do a heritage classic they do a similar thing but with the Calgary Cowboys.

Best part of all those alternative jerseys was the shoulder patch from the CALGARY script one.
