Would love to be a fly on the wall when Mad Max was told he isn't in. I'm sure in public he will be PC, but behind the scenes...?

If Max wants to win I’m sure he was pissed off but I could also see him being smart enough to put his ego aside because he wants to win so bad. Plus you never know what would happen in the ALCS.

Are the players not on the roster still allowed to be in the dugout for the games?

The only thing I’m nervous about for their roster is not having Bassett for long relief should they need it. I have no problem with the lineup. I think they’re doing the right thing with going with hot hands and guys who aren’t injured. None of these guys are that great where they can outplay a lesser guy while injured.

Take a drink for every directors cut to the Rogers new drone and you won’t make it out of the second inning.
Don’t care how cooked Scherzer looked the last few starts, he played well through the season and could’ve come in for relief. Berrios and Bassitt too, but those injuries are more severe then let on. 60% of starting rotation out.
Has to be Yasavage in Game 2 if they win today. Beiber in 3 in NYC. But if they lose game 1 my guess it’s Beiber in Game 2 for a must win. Game 3 if the series is tied would be TBD. Maybe Lauer.

Schneider says Scherzer likely makes it if they were playing the Red Sox. Didn't like the match up vs the Yankees.
Bassitt not stretched out enough yet after his injury. Could still see both in the CS if they can win the DS.

If Santander has 3 or more hits, an OPS above 300 and OPS over 700 in this series and the Jays win...I pledge to quit drinking coffee for 4 weeks.
The chances of the latter happening are 50%...the former...Ill say 16%.

Will be feast or famine with Santander. Only played in 5 playoff games.
But with the bar so low from the regular season, I like to think he’s going to break out, relatively speaking, and hit those stat lines.

Agree completely. He’s going to strike out a ton but his swing for the fences will pay off at some point this series. I am concerned about his ability to play RF though. I wish Springer woukd just man up and do it because his defence is much better.

Lukes is playing right and Santander is in left. When it's Fried or Rodon they might move him to right to go with Schneider in left.
I think he's the Jays version of James Neal. 0 faith thst he can do anything useful.
