Oliver’s mistakes were more tolerable than Jake’s are.

Maybe it is because of the kamikaze rushes Oliver would do 1-2 a game. He was fearless some times. The entertainment value of those was worth the subsequent mistakes.

It's a cautionary tale, for sure. A series of errors from Kylington has left him in this predicament. Only has himself to blame unfortunately.

I suspect that Kylington having Chris Tanev to cover his errors was a massive part of the success Kylington had in the 21-22 season. Bean has not had the luxury of having a player of Tanev's caliber to carry him. I doubt Bean could ever do what Kylington did next to Tanev. But I also think Bean with lesser partners is a bit more functional than Kylington is.

Yeah, too much is made of the highs and lows of each player and not enough of the general level of play over many many shifts.
