I’ll help. The flames had the 19th most blown leads last year. Meaning 18 teams had more.

The typical flames stuff is old and lazy
Mushy middle. Flames can’t even be elite at lead blowing.

Was disappointed by what I saw from Coleman pretty much all preseason, hope he looks a whole lot better once the games start to count

Coleman’s preseason performance is quite possibly the most meaningless indicator of anything for this team.

Nothing truly matters. We're all going to die.

Nothing better than nihilism in a preseason game thread.

Veterans often mail in the preseason games. I wouldn't think about it too much.

Gotta throw Stajan in to sweeten the deal

This is going to be such a great season, where I cheer for them to win, but am ecstatic when they lose.

Gavin McKenna watch begins now!

Flames were big braining that stat. You can't blow a 3 goal lead, if you don't score 3 goals in the first place. And we know the Flames were near the bottom in scoring.

I believe that stat was for all blown leads, not just 3-goal leads. And you don't get to 96 points in a season without having some leads here and there.

Last deadline was an ideal time to deal him.

But alas, the playoff push..

He's turning 34.

Hopefully they can pull a Frolik return and deal him for a couple mid round picks.

Age catches up with everyone. Him and Backlund are both shells of the players they were a few years back. Kadri will likely be declining pretty quickly as well.

It is not an effort thing, players just slow down when they age.

The regular season hasn’t even started and we’re already dealing with this BS.

It’s your life, enjoy hockey how you want to, but I will never be excited seeing my favourite team lose. And I know team tank feels differently, but cmon guys.

Man, you use this line so often. Youre not the arbiter of flames fan hood. Just because you love something to the point of blind acceptance doesn't mean everyone must.

It boggles my mind that you continue to wield this insane, unquestioning, dogmatic love for everything the franchise does as s cudgel against other fans as if it is a badge of honor... really its bizarre and oilers cultish.

We have to trade Wolf to have a shot at drafting a good player though……..right?
Did I say it correctly?
