Reds blew their chance in the top of the 6th, down by one, loaded the bases, 0 outs and pulled a Yankee. Scored no runs.

Never seen a team switch pitchers in the middle of at bat and then the other team pinch hit. Didn't know you could actually do that, unless it was for an injury

Red Sox - Yankees going to be wild tonight and probably high scoring.

I wonder if two rookies with a combined < 100 MLB innings pitched have ever faced off in a series finale.

Early is from our suburb, and I know a few people who know him. I hope he does well.

Tigers take out Guardians 6-3.

Didn’t expect that result with the momentum of both teams heading into the postseason.

Knock on wood but a Blue Jays vs Tigers ALCS would be great for travel. It’s too bad MLB doesn’t reseed after wildcard round.

Tigers were dead to rights coming into the postseason. Very reminiscent of the Rangers World series run. Collapse in the 2nd half, barely get in, and then go on a heater.

Way better to face the Tigers in ALCS vs ALDS imo.

You get Skubal 2/7 instead of 2/5.

That's possible, but only if he starts game 1. If they were willing to short rest him the whole way he could pitch game 1/4 of the ALDS and then 1/4/7 of the ALCS, and 1/4/7 of the WS. That's a lot of starts in a row on short rest, I'd be surprised if they're willing to do that.

It'll be interesting to see what they do in the DS. He could pitch 1/4 but they'd both be on short rest. Or he could go 2/5 on regular rest and then an extra day of rest.

I think the cub is safe at home. This mlb call of being 100% to overturn is utter nonsense. Kills the integrity of the sport

Wow, Padres screwed in the ninth. Terrible strike out call on full count. Next batter hit by pitch, should be 3-1, two men on, 0 outs. Now its one on, one out.

Hits the next batter, too. Should be bases loaded, no outs.

I’m watching the Espn feed, each pitch has a little “k” on the ball if it is in the zone. If the ump botches the call, it’s funny and sad. Is it the same in Canada?
