Hope Huby is fine but silver lining if he's out for a few games to start the season would be we likely get an extended look at Gridin in a role that suits his talents

I guess there is a pretty good chance the Flames pick a goalie off waivers
A Ville Husso-type, who knows who else. Not a big upgrade in skill, but more experience

Its funny that we basically have 4 lines that are all mid 2nd lines basically at this point lol. Works for our advantage with some top heavy teams

Odd if Cooley has the inside track for the backup role (if this is what practice indicates). Maybe the staff see something we don't.
But i agree with everyone else saying we may need to shop for an established backup.
