What record?? Hahahah

“Better than Spendshi” apparently.

Lmao give me a break. Our provincial government likes to waste taxpayer dollars on an ad campaign instead of just paying for better classroom conditions for your kids.

Maybe they mean record investment by the government in private surgical companies? Apparently its twice as much money for the cherry picked surgeries the private companies do, that would be a record.

This is the conservative way now, especially in Alberta.

You could spend X dollars fixing a problem, OR, you could spend like 90% of that on contracts to businesses owned by your buddies. Don't worry, they won't have to actually deliver anything that would actually fix the problem (See PPE, Lab services, Private surgical centers, and Tylenol). Now you spend the reaming 10% on advertising to tell people you've fixed the problem.

Now the people who will always vote for you can believe that the problem has been fixed, despite their own experience and all objective evidence to the contrary, and your buddies are rich.

I challenge anyone to show me how actually fixing the problem would be better. This way dumb people/your voters will still vote for you , and your friends/donors are rich.

The best part is that if anyone points out that the problem does still exist, you can just blame AHS, "The Union", or the NDP (they really are still dining out on that 4 years where the NDP ran the joint).

Busboobs sent herself a letter

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmon...nada-1.7645140

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith's government says it is planning to introduce legislation that would allow it to ignore international agreements signed by Ottawa.

The future legislation is listed in a new mandate letter Smith issued this week to the government's intergovernmental relations ministry, which the premier heads.

Well from the sounds of it, a province-wide teacher strike is going to happen on the 6th. Almost every single person I've spoken to is voting no, with some who even voted yes in May deciding that the value of a strong "no" vote is more important than their own yes vote.

Will teachers be legislated back to work before day one of the strike? Probably. Will they be thrilled to be there? I highly doubt that.

My hate for her and her intentions to divide this country just grows deeper with every stupid step.

Anything to try and antagonize Ottawa, and she jumps all over it with absolute glee. I don’t even live in Alberta anymore, and I hate her almost as much as Trump. Sometimes even moreso. She’s just such a despicable sack of s***.
