This was their plan for years ever since they shut down Swoop. Rather than have two different airlines to serve two different customer bases they'll have mixed cabins to serve the regular crowd and the ULCC crowd with one fleet
No recline is a feature. With that layout, people will get the much sought after "tall person in economy" flying experience. I literally won't fit in those seats.
That's brutal if true. Unless the seats are somewhat thinner and 28" is similar to 30" on the current seats. I've flown RyanAir, their seats are tolerable for short flights and that's about it.
I'm a big guy too, 30" is about as small as I can tolerate.
The no recline is actually something I support though.
