I've been getting iron infusions the last few weeks, and while I don't really feel any different--I'm still on the edge of fainting if I stand up too fast, or am slightly dehydrated or, or, or...--but I am absolutely wired at night! I'm getting my third infusion tomorrow, and everyday this week I've been up till about 4:00 a.m, sleep for a few hours then up at about 8:00 a.m. for a full day.
So I guess in that sense I do feel different.
I don't know if this is just some wonky side effect, as they said it should take about a month after the last infusion for my hemoglobin to rise. Regardless, I'm just going to go ahead and put all my chips on feeling even better in no time.

Do you take electrolytes? May help with dehydration and the fainting feeling.
