I wonder if you could look for a hard metal or plastic shape and use a rubber mallet to hammer the dent into that shape.

I ended up having the chimney just go to the top of the cabinets but had a piece of colour matched trim around the top of it that matches the cabinets so it doesn't look unfinished. It's... fine.

Fine but not fine enough for a pic? Hmmmm....

I found when I was helping my buddy build his cabin we obsessed over #### that we never even noticed once it was done. I am sure it will be ... fine.
