I still hate the hitting in 25 so much. Really spoiled the fun for me. Probably won't buy 26 or 27, as giving money to EA every three or four years is as much as I can stomach.
Downloaded Silksong and it feels soooo good exploring and whacking bugs. I'm still early on and haven't hit anything super hard yet (I think I'm maybe just outside of the tutorial) but platforming and hitting bugs really scratches an itch. As with Hollow Knight, the combat has that nice crunchy feel.
I hit a point in Silksong where all the combat tweaks compared to Hollow Knight clicked and now I don't know how I'll go back to Hollow Knight. Silksong is so snappy, smooth and fun to play. The diagonal pogo is incredibly fun to use, and even the regular enemy design really rewards the use of all your skills.
In that note, Octopath Traveler 2 was finally discounted enough to get me to buy it this weekend and I started it, and unsurprisingly it's right up my alley. Awesome steam deck game so far.

I loved it right up until the final boss and I found out all eight characters are used in the fight. I spent a big part of the game building a perfect party of four. I still need to level up the other four and give the boss another go.
GameHub is pretty cool. It lets you play PC games on Android, with support for Steam games including cloud sync.
It's made by the company that makes GameSir controllers who provide it for free, probably so people with buy their controllers to play games on their phones.
Costco stores have been removing all Xbox consoles, gift cards and products from their shelves across the US. This comes directly after Microsoft’s recent announcement that it would be raising prices on the Xbox Series consoles in response to “changes in the macroeconomic environment.”
This is almost certainly due to the US’ aggressive tariff policies, which have put a strain on companies like Microsoft that outsource the creation of their products to other countries.
Pretty crazy that Costco will stop selling Xbox consoles and games due to Trump's big beautiful tariffs. Winning

Has anyone tried Diablo II Resurrected yet? Does it capture the magic of when we were teenagers?
I'd kill for that feeling again.
It's fun, and it was great seeing all those classic areas and bosses again, but I went right back to Diablo III after beating Baal on Hell. There was just too many quality of life changes in D3 for me to stick around in D2R.
