Chimney flashing info for flat/ low slope roofs?

Hoping to find some information, had my roof done recently and I do not believe they did the chimney flashing correctly but having a hard time finding the right info.

The part with the chimney is a modified bitumen flat roof material. Which they brought to the chimney but I believe it needs counter flashing of some type. Been trying to look at other similar homes when I’ve been driving around but near impossible due to low slope roofs and driving lol. But some seems to have a metal piece to cover the mod bit.

Anyone have information or pictures?

Do you have a picture of your existing chimney/roof installation? Generally, the modified bituminous roofing membrane (or any other "flat roof" membrane), needs to extend up the adjacent vertical surface about 200 mm (8"). It shouldn't just stop where the flat roof meets the vertical surface, in this case the chimney. If you post a picture of your installation, I can offer some advice as to how the counter flashing, roof membrane, etc., should be installed.
