Having blackouts for preseason games is even dumber than having them in the regular season. Let people atleast watch games that don't matter in the standings.

I thinks it's more about the bandwidth for the stream so it runs smoothly than just a blackout, charging money like the Oilers do is far worst.

We would broadcast it everywhere if we were allowed. Unfortunately, the NHL sets the restrictions.

Stupid Oilers. I thought I would sign up for the $8.99 monthly subscription to Oilers+ so I could keep an eye on the game in Edmonton. But the sign up asks for your state and zip code. Seems shady!! I don't trust anything that crap organization does. Hopefully it will be uploaded to Utube later.
