It's literally how any good Stamps team goes. We get injured...a lot.

Keystone cops tackling tonight. Good god. Rourke was great- don't get me wrong. But the tackling after the completions. Facepalm.

The Stamps offense hasn't been sharp for the last 3 games. Vernon is clearly dealing with being banged up, but the offensive line was outright awful tonight, and the defense just wasn't their usual swarming hard hitting selves.

It happens in a long season, it especially happens with a young team.

If I was Dave I would play the recording the Lions wave good by celebration in the end zone before the next time we see the Lions. The Lions fine scored at will, but they showed a lot of disrespect.

Well this game was pretty much a disaster for a variety of reasons. Not the ideal time of the season to have a major slump but they have time to turn things around. Not sure what's going on with Adams but the turnovers are starting to become an issue and it looks like Walker is going to be out for a while so the QB situation isn't great.

Dave said it was a rib injury for VA that kept him out. Maybe I don't notice it but I wish the Stamps would use Mills as a check down option more than what they do. VA likes to push the ball down the field, which is great, but he often forces it into good coverage situations.

In case anyone is interested Paul LaPolice's youtube channel is very good in terms of not only breaking down games. But he's running pass concept school videos that are really good whether you coach, or you just want to see what you can't see on TV.

I cannot believe that MOS still refuses to play Wilson.

The only positive from yesterday I can take, is that PJ Walker looked markedly better behind centre than I've ever seen him look up here.

Vicious, but clean (shoulder to chest). Also, that looked like a catch and then a fumble as a result of the hit to me.

Mark Stephen reporting that Walker is out for the rest of the season. No update on VA.

I would think Dave is looking to bring in another QB.

Farhan says there's optimism around VA and he wouldn't be surprised if he plays vs the Als.

I wonder if there is a house cleaning coming in Ottawa. They have some good players but can't put it all together. Yesterday they lost a game where Streveler only completed 3 passes. Dru Brown hasn't really worked out, mainly because he can't stay healthy.

Allow me to go glass half-full for a second - Yeah, the last couple of games have been troubling, but the Stamps are still 2 games clear in the loss column as far as 2nd place in the West is concerned. I think this loss to BC was a necessary wakeup call for the team and I expect (or at least hope) to see a fired up Stamps team against the Als on Friday night.

I'd also like to see more emphasis on the run game and getting the ball in Mills' hands as much as possible, as the weather turns colder, the run game and controlling the ball becomes more paramount. Also, can the Stamps start calling some screen pass plays please?

On the defensive side of the ball, I think this soft zone that the Stamps have been utilizing needs some tweaks as teams have started figuring out where to attack the Stamps. It also looks like guys are trying to do too much out there to me, just do your job and have trust in the guy beside you thar they will do their job.

8-5 going into week 17, the sky isn't falling just yet lol
