With an early maintenance day, some skating and now missing the first preseason game is there anything up with Huberdeau?

I'm watching the Edmonton one specifically for Klapa, Lomberg and Pospisil.
If they kill Trent Frederic right now then Edmonton's season is over.

Remember when Iginla would take days off during training camp, play in very few preseason games, then play 82 games in the regular season, finishing with 10+ more points than everyone else on the team?
Don't worry about who doesn't play in preseason games -- especially early ones.

Fair. But Iggy was also a notoriously slow starter and this team needs to be firing early with everyone contributing.
That said I'm not worried about Huberdeau, just curious.

I believe it's still in place. The criteria are: - a forward or defenseman who played in thirty (30) NHL Games during the previous season,
- a goaltender who either dressed in fifty (50) or more NHL Games or played in thirty (30) or more NHL Games in the previous season,
- a first round draft choice from the most recent year’s Entry Draft, or
- any Player who has played one-hundred (100) or more career NHL Games.
For the game in Calgary: Kadri, Coronato, Zary, Backlund, Coleman, Andersson, Hanley, Weegar, and Bean all qualify.
For the game in Edmonton: Farabee, Frost, Frk, Lomberg, Pospisil, Klapka, Hunt, Bahl, Pachal, and Miromanov all qualify.
More than 8 in both games.
