European prospects 2025/26
Yan Matveiko has one point (assist) in his first game of the season for CSKA Red Army of the MHL.
Yegor Yegorov allows 2 goals on way to a win for Moscow Spartek Jr. of the MHL.
Kirill Zarubin has not played yet for Tula Mikhailov Academy of the MHL.
The Swedish kids haven’t started their seasons yet.

I don't know my Euro leagues, are those guys playing in the top pro leagues, junior, or minor pro (like the ECHL/AHL)?

Matveiko is in the MHL which is top level Russian junior
Stockselius is in U20 Nationell which is top level Swedish junior
Most top top players would play some senior league top league or second league games at their ages though, but they’re playing well where they are at least. Might see them pick up some pro games as the season goes on.

Spoke too soon. Stockselius is held to no points, and a -1 today in a 2-1 OT loss to Leksands. He sits at 4gp/0g/6a/6pts,+1, 2 PIM, with Djurgardens of the U20. He is tied for 7th in league scoring, but is 1st in assists.
Leander sits at 4gp/0g/2a/2pts,+3, 29 (!) PIM, with HV71 of the U20.
Matveiko sits at 7gp/4g/5a/9pts,+8 (!), 4 PIM, with Krasniya Armiya Moskva of the MHL. He is tied for 11th in league scoring.
Yegorov is 1-2-0 with MHK Spartak of the MHL, 3.01 GAA (55th), .914 SV% (41st).
Zarubin is 1-2-0 with AKM Tula of the MHL, 2.68 GAA (44th), .913 SV% (tied for 42nd).
The Russian Goalies stats are a bit misleading, as it's still early, and many of their peers have only played 1 game.
