I can see McDavid improving 24 points over last year, unless this trade stuff starts dragging him down, and Draisaitl maintaining is find. Even Bouchard, improving his points is fine, though he hurts the Oilers in other way.
RNH has been in steady decline for 3 years and now he's suddenly going to find 15 more points, that's unlikely, he's on the downside of his career.
Hyman's going to be out until November late, he's 33 and been declining for 3 years, and coming off a major injury I see another decline for him.
AM has been in decline for a while since his 55 point year 4 years ago. and maybe he gets a ton of time on the first line. But if he plays on the first line with McDavid or on a line with Draisaitl a 42 point year is a bust.
Savoie and Howard both hitting those, I feel its unlikely, I didn't see much out of Savoie in those two games against the Flames except he helicopters on big hits because he's tiny, and Howard is making a major jump to the NHL from college and might need to adjust.
I expect that especially if the McDingdong drama heads into the regular season and with the age of the Oilers overall line up that this is going to be the team in the NHL with the biggest decline.
I have them fighting for a wildcard spot.
And a massive attempt to convince McDavid to wave his no movement clause by January if he hasn't signed.
