They should schedule that opposite the promised Charlie Kirk special.

Trump gives them so much material how could they possibly resist? Like in the 90s Bill Clinton was every other punch line too.
If you are a living joke you can't really be mad when people poke fun.
Side note, Clinton and Trump are the same ####ing age...one was president more than 2 decades ago, lets get some young blood in there FFS.

Remember how the Dixie Chicks and Dan Rather were canceled hard for criticizing the Bush Administration? That’s how these snowflakes operate. Meanwhile, they’re allowed to make statements about killing the homeless with lethal injection or continuously crack jokes about Paul Pelosi having his brains bashed in. And the reason they win, outside of controlling the money and media, is that people on the left tend to have empathy while they do not. So we cave.

Trump was born in June 1946, George W Bush in July 1946, and Clinton in August 1946.

I do not get how these people stand it. No amount of power or money could make me be his bitch for one second.

Vaguely NSWF. Not sure what Nigel Powers had against the Dutch, this was great.

The fact that Biden and Trump were the two best people they could find to lead was so disturbing. It's a country of 340 million people. Surely there must be someone who isn't geriatric and totally out of touch who can lead.

Thing is Biden at least put competent people in charge of the important jobs...its not like the president is doing much day to day
RFK, Patel, Linda Mac...like honestly, you would have trouble coming up with worse candidates as a joke

I did too. It's such an easy thing to do and should be impactful in numbers. I'll go back if they put him back on without requiring a gross apology.

I've always been annoyed at people bringing up that particular instance. I can't imagine anyone who has ever ridden clipped in would make fun of that, as we've all done it once, just not in front of a bunch of people on camera (hopefully). Riding a bike with toe clips at that age is actually a relatively athletic thing to do and it's mostly sedentary people picking on him.

It's hard to believe, but even Ted Cruz thinks the FCC Chair overstepped his boundaries. He compared this to a shake down, but not sure if he was referring to Sinclair or the FCC chair.
Also, apparently the FCC can only regulate channels and not networks, so he can't do anything about Kimmel directly anyway.
If Reagan and Schwarzenegger can run for office and win, I'd take a ticket of a combination of Kimmel or Colbert or Stewart or Newsom or Butigieg any day.

Stewart could easily hands down win any election. He's done more for American people than trump ever has.

When people think that certain figures/celebrities would be awesome and should just run, you have to remember that being a US president brings certain burdens that the average, kind, human being could likely not endure. Likely someone like Jon Stewart would struggle immensely/not sign up for it because he knows.
You can't be president without understanding that you are being asked to lead the country to kill innocent thousands, potentially hundreds of thousands (at times) of human beings abroad for political/economic purposes. It is not conspiracy theory that the US plays world police and needs people to die as they engage in political theatre to destabilize regions and then take over and direct Oil to US interests.

I think it's Cruz just voicing his minimal government ideals rather than sticking his neck out. From the BBC story...
Quote:
On his podcast Verdict with Ted Cruz, the senator emphasised on Friday that he hated what Kimmel said about Kirk, and he is "thrilled that he was fired". He also said Carr was "a good guy".
|
Again, to be clear, Kimmel said nothing about Kirk.

It was a joke. No need to defend him. Trump couldn't ride a tricycle.
