He might actually plan to have his SC overturn that for him still, but might also realize that he is defrauding the American public out of so much money per day, that it's not a valuable use of his time. Given that the most recent appeal was 2 weeks ago, I am not sure that there has been any money transfer yet.

It's funny because not long ago, this was hyperbole and a conspiracy theory that the US was becoming an authoritarian state. But frankly, I wasn't paying attention because I thought that. There are way too many things that have happened there now that only happen in authoritarian states.

And Democrats have more than an uphill battle. I know, I know...just wait until the midterms. Well, those midterms are looking like a disaster. First, you have all the gerrymandering and voter suppression that is a problem. Then you have literally troops on the streets in all of the Democrat cities, and now we're seeing control of the media rolling along as well.

Don't forget that it isn't just the US. The PP conservatives have already wiped out the NDP here and operate on the exact same tactics as MAGA. Trump lost in 2020 and PP is already waiting for the next election to do that here. Never mind the wildrose infiltration of our province.

The US needs to be a lesson for us to wake the #### up before our own democracy is dismantled from within by people who hate human values like empathy and cooperation and care only for the money that the deep-pocketed lobbyists give them.

If we don't rise up in passionate anti-fascism, we shall be subjugated by the IDU and its many global branches.
