That was easily Arsenal's best performance of the season. Even when scoreless, I was really enjoying the performance.

Arteta needs to give Odegaard plenty of time to get over whatever is causing him to get regularly injured.

Not directly related but Calgary kid Owen Hargreaves is on the Peter Crouch podcast.

I have become a bit bored of the podcast, but this is a great episode. Surprised to hear so much wisdom from a footballer.

Another poor performance from Liverpool ends with three points. Masters of winning ugly.

Liverpool sure like to win late. Poor decision by the defender to have his arms out like that, braindead moment.

masters of winning ugly indeed. Getting 12 points out of these 4 games speaks for itself.

getting ugly now. City haven't even been that good, but that's simply not enough from United.

Yeah City have been meh and they could easily have two more with a sitter missed by both Haaland and Reijnders.

Yeah, that Liverpool wasnt pretty and obviously points is points, but we knew going into this season that teams like Burnley would be parking the Bus against Liverpool...19% possession and 0 shots on goals.

At home.

Liverpool knew that was coming, there was never any danger of them losing that game but there was a danger of not winning it.

But thats why they went out and bought Wirtz who could unlock defences and wide players would could spray crosses into the box it just hasnt clicked yet, but I dont know how much longer they can count on pulling off miracles like this.

Who gets sacked first, Potter or Amorim? I can’t imagine either of those two is comfortable at this point.

I think its gotta be Potter by a Mile.

United kept Amorim after an absolutely dismal campaign, then invested in 'his' players to play his system, I think United and Amorim are, at the moment and for better or worse, married to each other.

Potter? West Ham just shuffled the deck chairs on the good ship London Stadium. They gave Potter basically nothing, he's easy to turf.

Yeah, but you might want to see something after all the investment? I thought City was better today than they have been, but they weren’t great either, and they won that in a walk. Tough call, because West Ham hasn’t won at home in months, and that’s going to get ugly.

Yeah, I guess it just depends on what the expectations are.

United are garbage, although with their spending they shouldnt be, but their expectations as a club like that are high.

Its not like West Ham were 'World Beaters' last season and they didnt really get any better, what are West Ham's expectations? Europa Conference League? Mid-table? I really dont know.

Well West Ham just lost their cup final, so who knows what they’re expecting. If they play this way, they’ll be rekindling their rivalry with Millwall though!

And, lets be honest, we're all here to see that!

Manchester United will reveal the full extent of their financial problems when the club publishes its annual accounts on Wednesday -- six months after minority owner Jim Ratcliffe said the 20-time Premier League champions risked running out money before the end of 2025.

"In super-simple terms, the club has been spending more money than it's been earning now for the last seven years, and it ends in a very difficult place," Ratcliffe said.

"And for Manchester United, that place ended at the end of this year, the end of 2025, with the club running out of cash."

Well this will be interesting.

'Sorry everybody, we're closing the canteen and eliminating staff meals to cut costs. Things are dire, club has spent too much so it's this or having the lights shut off completely.

On an unrelated note, we have just paid over £70,000,000 for Benjamin Sesko.'
