As Getbak said they can sign him to an ELC as long as it's before the end of training camp. It's a mechanism for undrafted players to sign if they go undrafted but get invited to a camp and a team likes them enough. The Flames had undrafted Philippe Myers attend their rookie camp that summer but didn't like him enough to invited him to main camp. The Flyers liked him to have him at theirs and liked him even more to offer him an entry level contract.
Nathan Brisson has looked incredibly good these two games, smart hard working hockey. An ELC doesn't count against the 50 contract limit so I think it would be interesting to the see Conroy does. They have a lot of prospects coming along the way but this kid is fun to watch
