Don't know what this is about, but I hope this isn't something the Flames knew about and should have dealt with.

(I don't believe it is, because I can't imagine Conny ever not doing the right thing.)

According to the Washington Post it is for allegations about personal conduct and reported earlier this summer to the NHL

Doesn’t sound good.

Hopefully not something serious or someone trying to ruin his career.

So...he may have been inappropriately been attempting to spread the Love?

Goddamn the season needs to start soon...

Yeah, obvious that's a possibility. He was in the Calgary organization for only two years. Nine years in the WHL with Everett then Saskatoon.

I am very interested to hear what this is about. The teams he works for seem to have noticeable upticks in performance.
I was shocked that he didn't get more traction with the flames but this could certainly explain it, and ultimately its a good result for the franchise.
Huska has, imo, been a great coach for the club. Certainly some good results developing dmen and playing defensive hockey systems.

Prospective employers received a letter. Sounds like someone is pissed off.

If it's something that happened before he was hired by the Caps, it's weird that it took this long to come out. This would have been his 3rd season in Washington.

Maybe it was because he was seeking a top coaching job instead of an associate/assistant?

Which is still strange. You think this is something Calgary and Washington would have been made aware of, whether it pre-dated his term in Calgary or not.

I'm pretty sure jeopardizing someone future employment prospects is legally actionable, so it'd have to be serious.
