They’re going to walk to the ring soon. Guessing around 11:00 or slightly sooner.

After 3 rounds I think Crawford has the slight edge.

Very strategic so far. Alvarez is a strange fighter, doesn't jab

I'm the casual-est of boxing fans, I barely watch it, but that was fun. We have netflix, hence why I watched. The Mbilli vs. Martinez fight was awesome.
Full marks for class for both Crawford and Alvarez in post-interviews.
Love that Crawford was the underdog that went up a couple weight classes, won and had a very humble post fight interview. That is how sports should be . None of this fake trash talk, arrogance etc.. Just respect and humility.
I hate the WWE show the UFC has become.
For those more knowledgable about boxing- lots of talk about retirement tonight for Alvarez and Crawford. Are these two towards the end of their careers? As a very casual watcher, I thought these two were the current best of the best. Watching this broadcast it makes it sound like these are two guys towards the end deciding to fight it out.

Great fight.
Most enjoyable boxing match I've watched in a while & didn't have to buy a PPV.
In related sad news, Ricky Hatton died today at just 46.

The official cards for the 115-113 scores had them tied after 10, so had Canelo just won one of the final two rounds it would have been a draw, which would have been a robbery. As to these guys retiring, Crawford is 38 soon and there aren't any bigger fights out there than this. Canelo is only 35, but he's also fought 68 times now so he's an old 35. And, like Crawford, not a lot of big money fights out there for him. But we know how boxing retirements work, plus there's always gonna be a Jake Paul sideshow fight in the future for more money, if need be.
