All I can get
|
Brisson a bit on the smallish side at 5'10 175 lbs, which is probably why he wasn't drafted. Still okay for a forward though. A little weight and strength would enhance his chances.
Good on the Flames giving him an extra look. Maybe someone to check out again next summer as a late round gamble.

For sure, getting bigger and bulkier is a must for this player- he's known to be a guy who outworks his opponents, and plays a very physical game.

I though they all looked pretty good, outside of the last 10-15 minutes where you could see they didn’t have the legs.
You could however clearly see the guys who had another gear and stood out just a bit more.
Taco JR (King) Gridin and Suniev were easily the strongest out there with and without the puck.
Honzek looked good.
Battaglia had a strong showing.
Basha a bit more mid from what I noticed.
Bruz and Morin the big standouts on D with Brz clearly thr best from both teams, he looks like he’s ready to compete.
Say was good early but that 3rd period rattled him a bit.

You can't discount the effect of immediately playing the game after a 4.5-hour bus ride on their early and late game play.

Brisson was involved on 3-4 goals. He made a great pinch play on one goal, took a hit to make the pass. PBP guys totally missed it. They were horrible.

One of the big questions coming into the season for me has been which of Tacoboy and Tacoman Jr. (or Taco Jr.) will gain traction. Seems Tacoboy might be the VHS to Tacoman Jr.’s Beta right now but it’s close.

So impressed with the Flames young talent now, with another two 1st rounders next year as well plus a Rasmus trade coming. Keep sticking to your plan Connie I’m loving it. I mean they could’ve had Parekh, Reschny, Potter, Mews, Stockselius, Misa, Wyttenbach, Hoskin, Jamieson, the Russian and Swede 7th rounders from this past draft. Also missing two of three Russian goalies. A new arena coming as well
