IDK, why would Hart signs with the Oilers where it's the media circus of the universe?
This. I think it would be a huge mistake if he signed in a place like this - or any Canadian city really.
Problem for him is that I could see the oilers promising him lots of starts as a chance to build his career back. Not many other teams would do that IMO.

The Oilers promise would be as hollow as anywhere. If he is playing well he will get starts. If he isn't, they are going to go with Skinner. This is the case with anywhere he plays. If he performs well he will get starts. The only places that may not be like that would be the tanking teams.
In the 1980s, they didn't have digital cameras. They would have hired a real photographer to take a picture using actual film, and he would have paid attention to the lighting and colour balance.
This was just drunken-selfie bad.
Maybe they hired Lauren McDavid to take the picture. From the job she did ‘decorating’ his house, she doesn't seem to be familiar with the concept of colour at all.

He's got a full no move, and if he has decided to leave he would be playing it exactly like he is right now and keeping it under wraps so the yokels up there don't pull him to pieces. No way he's going to move to another team in a trade and devastate his new team's competitiveness. He will want to go there as a UFA and join the strongest team possible if he's leaving.
And with the cap going up almost 10 mil next year a lot of teams will be able to find a way to fit him in.
I think if he's not signed to an extension by the start of the season he walks unless the oilers have one of those two new young forwards absolutely explode changing how he sees the future there. It makes sense for him to chew it over all summer but there's no other rationale as to why he would wait beyond the start of the season.
Right now they look like a tired old team with very little youth and one or two cuts at the cup left. Never mind the additional money he would make in endorsements playing somewhere like LA.
Just saw Morgan Wallen (can’t stand him) had McD as his walkout buddy. Mcdavid had all the body language of a guy walking into the grocery store for some Sunday grocery shopping. Awkwaaard.
Also, Morgan Wallen= NG.
