Those New York Islander teams from 1980-1983 were something else. They even stopped the Oilers from winning their fist cup.

Carolina denied the Oilers a cup and sent them squarely into the 16 year decade of darkness.

Columbus is the most boring team in the NHL. If they vanished, would anyone notice?

I never liked the Isles as a kid because I like the Habs and the Isles had taken theor "best in the league" role. And a lot of bandwangoners in Calgary jumped aboard during their dynasty. Looking back, they were a class org.
