Speaking of Epstein, the UK fired their ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelson, who was close friends with Epstein and in the recent "Birthday Book" release with all of the letters written to Epstein there was a card from Mandelson with birthday wishes, calling Epstein his "best pal".

I don't think they have to be former military, just a gun enthusiast.

I know nothing about guns, so fair enough. My statement was probably ignorant of gun skills requirements.

Not to go all JFK, but it looked like the shot came from his right, maybe I'm looking a pic wrong but that looks more straight on.

Yeah, I've heard ~200 yds.
That's not an exceptionally difficult shot.
Given the opportunity to lay down, or otherwise rest a rifle on something solid, and a stationary target, most deer hunters I know are making that shot way more often than not.
I'm not saying this for any reason other than to dispel any of the talk about "Former military", or some other exceptional skills required.

I remember the same chatter except from the other side about one of the Biden videos when he was in office. It's quite fascinating to witness all of this apply in so many different scenarios.

I'm already exhausted with this. The over simplification of if you're not crying about it you're celebrating it is tiring. I'm not celebrating a horrible death like that, but I'm also not going to pretend he was an awesome guy. My social media is full of phony posts from people about Charlie Kirk. I think it's horrible, no kids should lose their father like that, and I don't want to see that happen to anyone. There's so much theatre from people who don't give a damn when kids are murdered, or didn't care when the Minnesota politicians were shot, but now are very concerned about leftist violence.
I talked with one person I know, and it went poorly. They had a post that said pray for Charlie Kirk.
They were just arguing that he was killed for having an opinion. I stated it's horrible that he died and no kids should lose their father, but that Kirk was a-ok with that happening to other people, and made comments stating as much right after a school shooting a couple years ago. I said he also was a little more than a guy with some opinions, he had influence. He wouldn't have prayed for anyone.
The response I got was, "well he was executed for having an opinion, I guess you should be happy he's dead."
I'm already burnt out on this.

Looks like a finger(s) disappearing on his hand that kind of glitch which is usually a big indicator, could be a bad edit too.
A picture of him at the 9/11 ceremony today he looks like he had a stroke.

I haven’t seen it. But I’m also pretty bad at distinguishing well done photoshops from legit images.

So not to interrupt the Kirk talk but what are the odds the shooter is never caught? The head of the FBI is utterly inept and unqualified, the government has been purging the department of both non right wing agents and anyone who ever worked on a Trump case, this is the Keystone cops searching for a white guy in Utah. That's a needle in a haystack at the best of times.

They've got a picture of a "person of interest". If this is indeed the shooter, it's only a matter of time before he's IDed and then caught.
Although based on this photo, I could see the FBI being wrong. He looks more like the kind of guy who would attend one of these rallies. Although maybe he's just wearing that shirt to blend in? So wild that an assassin is wearing a pro-gun shirt to blend in so that it's less suspicious for him to murder someone.

On a related note, my question is if the shooter isn't caught what are the odds they continue and go after another Kirk type... there are plenty of targets if it actually is a politically motivated killing, he's not the only guy who fits the potential victim profile. Just one of the easier ones to get to given the types of events he does.

FBI seeking a slender young white guy in an American flag shirt and baseball cap in Utah. Should be easy no?
