Time for another cup of stained water (I can't convince myself to call the stuff the office serves as actual "coffee")

Wow, I just noticed you live in Bawlf. That's one of the few places in Alberta that's actually smaller than where I come from ... Galahad. What's Bawlf like to live in? Galahad sucked, but at least Bawlf is close to Camrose.

first off, Bawlf is nearly 3 times the size of Galahad...we've got 360 some people now, and it doubles on school days (how awesome would that be if all the kids banded together and took over the town...it'd be sweet!)
well, i don't actually live in Bawlf...i have the privilege of living on a farm 15 mins east of there...I actually really enjoy it. Some days it can get a little boring (actually, lots of days). But it's nice that I know everybody in a 25km radius.
Anyways, Bawlf is actually starting to expand a bit. There's been 4 or 5 nice houses put up recently, the rink just had new boards put up (hey, that's a big deal...the old boards sucked. It was hell building them though). Biggest thing though has been the new hall. It just got finished a month ago. So yeah, it's been good lately...it was getting kinda trashy there for a while, but it's always been better than Ohaton, that's for damn sure.
Galahad musta sucked though...it'd have been quite a drive to, well, anywhere really (sorry, Forestburg doesn't count)...Stettler is probably the closest semi-big place, right? But at least there woulda been a ski "resort" right by there...
The world really is a small place though eh? Who woulda thought...huh. I'm still kinda stunned actually that anybody knew where I lived...Do you still have any relatives or anybody kickin' around here that I might know?
As for you 604flames... c'mon man...Bawlf vs Banff??? they have 3 similar letters, and I am pretty sure i can spell my hometown's name....

I lived in the following splat towns in my formative years:
Walsh, Alberta (near Medicine Hat, blink and you miss it)
Grassy Lake, Alberta
Coutts, Alberta
Warner, Alberta
Milk River, Alberta
I bet Walsh and Grassy probably take the cake. They can't have more than a few hundred people combined.

Exactly! Our office purchased a Timmy's coffee maker and Timmy's coffee and the coffee still tastes like crap. That drives me nuts, and I don't understand it. I still think there is some "secret ingredient" in the Timmy's from the store.

Isn't Walsh where the Buffalo Jump Orchestra comes from? Or are they from Irvine?
