Yay! Good hustle by Vladdy again taking the double play out of the equation on the winning run.
Didn’t really deserve to win being out hit 11 to 4 through 8 innings but credit to IKF for a clutch hit and the bullpen coming up big.

That was a ####ing electric win for the Jays. No hit through 5(6?) and come back. So many missed opportunities early. And just kept fighting. Wow.
Yanks lost. So no matter what they're 3 up in the division. With the tiebreaker. So basically 4 up. 18 long games to go.

Not sure all the hype the media is making around Vlad’s throw. I mean a good throw and a good but not unexpected decision to throw to the lead base, but this is MLB and if an infielder in MLB can’t throw a ball across the diamond to a base they likely aren’t in the league.
Bieber fine but a bit short outing. Downgraded from fever to a sniffle. Bullpen did excellent.

Have you seen some of the other MLB first basemen throw? As a group they are below average throwers.
It was a nice play, 1 out and a guy on first is so much better than 1 out and a guy on third.
