The strength of this team has been the defense and it was badly exposed. Hutchins should be back but I'm worried about Flo.

the constant back and forth with 2 minutes left about why Adams was out of the game was beyond stupid. he wasnt the only starter and this game was over, even by Cfl standards. Suitor and Nielsen are awful.

I loved when they kept saying "a lot can happen in the last 3 minutes"... when the Stamps got the ball back with 1:50 seconds left.

I think it really highlights the parity of this league right now, that Edmonton was able to beat Calgary, and frankly, Saskatchewan might be, historically, the absolute worst 10-2 CFL team I've ever seen. A complete mirage, but that's just, I think, another function of how tightly packed the teams are together.

Biggest disappointment is the injuries. Looks like the Stamps got caught reading their press clippings and didn't come prepared to face a team that simply wanted the game more. Fortunately the teams the Stamps are losing to aren't going to make the playoffs.

The Elks are four wins in the last five games. I wouldn't rule them out

The Esks errr Elks have really improved as soon as they put Falafel in at QB and gained some confidence, Their defence has been slowly figuring things out. However this was a win for them where the Stamps really didn't show up with the swagger and work ethic that we've seen throughout this season.
Edmonton is back in the playoff picture, but lets be honest, outside of Calgary and the Riders the rest of the leagues teams are really really awful.
For the Stamps, this was a minor fall off of the hamster wheel, its going to happen, especially with a young team that has far over achieved this year, young teams are going to at some point be inconsistent.
I expect that given the inequality of the league that the Riders have pretty much put away first, I'm fine with that I hate the bye in the playoffs, teams seem to always come out flat.
Calgary needs to just keep working on finding things in the playbook that work and work in cold weather. They also need to avoid injuries which they've struggled with.

It sure is and DD might need to swing a trade prior to the trade deadline to cushion that blow.
