My wife and I enjoyed the 3rd one a lot but after the campaign we both hardly played it. I just have a hard time swallowing the $90 price tag (x2 for each of our PCs, it’s couch coop for consoles) for a campaign only. The 3rd game had some decent replayability but once my build got nerfed into the ground I gave up.
Will definitely play it but not probably not as a day 1 full price purchase.
The Gearbox CEO said we'd be happy to pay $80 US to play it, but had to retract that, for good reason. I don't think I'll be buying it any time soon, even though I liked the previous games.
I know it's old news, but what is up with controller drift with the PS5?? I almost feel like I need a priest to perform an exorcism on my controller at this point.
Squad updated to unreal engine 5.5. Had some trepidation but it's looking really good. Frames are actually good if you have a chonky computer. Everyone was worried about optimization but now they mostly just have to fix a few bugs. Nice upgrade!
I bought Silksong even though I don't intend to play it. I'm hoping AAA studios start to get the hint that putting heart into games can be a successful strategy.

Let's also not discount the fact that the Tsushima platinum is a very fun platinum to get. You've got a little over a month until Yotei, so you'll have to fill the time anyways.
Did you play the DLC? I just realized I did not!
(I'm assuming yes as I recall you did like 11 play-throughs?)
Played a bit of NHL 26 using the 10 hour trial via EA Play. Gotta say, I wasn't expecting much and was still disappointed. Gameplay feels worse than NHL 25, and 'updates' to the existing game modes are essentially cutscene and dialogue changes. Genuinely feels like a minor patch vs. a brand new game.
I've bought the new NHL on release every year since probably NHL 12, and at this point I'm likely skipping 26, or at least waiting until it's heavily discounted.

Thanks.. ugh. I can't stand 25.. if you're D forget skating backwards and trying to be a danger to the attackers like in 24. You just have to chase these little bastards around.. it's so lame

I was a day one, or earlier, buyer up since NHLPA '93 (I only rented the original NHL Hockey as I was only 14 and mostly rented games at that age) until a couple of years ago. The game got so bad that I haven't bothered the last few years. I think it was last year it came out on PS Plus, or was super cheap....I played maybe three games.
