JJ needs a coach who attacks each day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind. That pisskiss was a brutal throw

JJ just had to get the bad one out of his system. Like I've always said he's basically the best

Why wouldn't the Bears try the onside kick? isn't this over now?

They thought he could kick it through the end zone. Would have likely given them the ball back with over a minute.

They should have kicked it OB. Isn’t that only a 5 yard difference?

To save the 2 minute warning.

Which is why Minny ran it out of the end zone.

Looked like a game where two QB's were making their first starts except one of them has a full season under his belt. Don't want to overreact to week one results but the Bears still look like the Bears. Williams accuracy looked pretty poor as he was off target several times with receivers wide open.

This is true. However what caused the snow all was the amount of penalties from the Oline. Chixago should have had 20+ points in the first half but the amount of 2nd and shorts turned into 2nd a 10+ is just ridiculous

I have to say that I'm impressed with how McCarthy didn't get down, and eventually rallied his team back. Seems to have the Leadership qualities that differentiates winners from losers.

Went to bed at the end of the third cause McCarthy didn't look good and it was a poor game, forgetting that of course the Bears are the Bears. If Bears fans weren't already so dead inside that might be an incredibly disheartening loss.

I think they had 5 false starts at least which is inexcusable but as I said before, it's week one which is always somewhat unpredictable as teams shake off the rust. The sequence in the 2nd half where via penalties they moved from short to long FG miss was the turning point. Also Johnson being a rookie coach is probably going to need to get some games under his belt.

Thats the thing. I don't think he could have kicked it through the end zone.

They should have just tried the onside kick instead.
