23 year old Ukrainian woman who fled the war, was murdered in cold blood yesterday on the train in North Carolina. She entered the train, sat in her seat, and was looking at her phone when suddenly a man behind her stood up unprovoked and stabbed her in the neck.

If it's being discussed here then it's becoming a big story and the MSM won't be able to just ignore it.
Right or wrong a random murder isn't national news coverage worthy. It's getting a lot of play locally, as it should, but beyond that this isn't something that unfortunately will leap to national coverage. We're hearing about it because of the story behind it.
It also is getting main stream media coverage as The Telegraph, The Independent, Fox News and the New York Post all have coverage on their websites about it. That's far more than you'll ever seen from most murders. It's being coverage locally in Charolette and of course by the Ukrainian population back home and abroad.
It might be important to keep things in perspective, focus on what matters and not use somethings death to push your political talking points.
What does this murder have to do with Russia’s war on Ukraine?
Don't be obtuse. This thread has plenty of personalized stories that add to the gravity of the tragedy happening in Ukraine. A lady who fled the war but was murdered later in the US adds another layer to the tragedy. She likely had family and friends fighting and they were probably glad to know she was safe in the US only to be hit with this news.
