Cyclical I knew, but cyclical to completely different “groups” is somewhat surprising. What’s next? Jocks going goth?

As long as someone is clean and isn't out in pajamas I don't judge. Typically out in your spongbob or weed pj's means you're a smelly dirty person regardless.

There’s not enough room here for two Peter12s.

I'm eagerly awaiting the phase where we again judge other people based on the color of Levi's jean tab they are wearing. Or perhaps that was localized to Sir John A. MacDonald junior high in the mid 90s. You did not want to be the kid who showed up in orange tabs (or god forbid Wranglers...ask me how I know).

I remember the orange tab red tab. My mom just didn’t get it. Levi’s are the wranglers for the kids now. All baggies now. Also the mom jeans I cannot understand being back. And terrible hair and cheeseball wispy teen moustaches and they want braces. That was the kiss of death.
My kid went to his first field party at some rich kids property, fights broke out. Most his buddies can just drive but he can’t yet. Not ready for this.

I worked at Woolco from the age of 16 to 18. The one on McLeod Trail that is now a Walmart. $4/hr or something. What a trip.

90's Junior High clothing was tough for me, as my household wasn't that well off and my parents refused to spend that type of money on brand name clothes. Kids at school had their Levis red / silver / black tabs, and their Guess and Club Monaco t-shirts and sweaters. Still remember my parents buying me a bunch of knock off shirts at Crossroads Flea Market, and I convinced my mom to sew that stupid red thread near the neck of the shirt so it's "authentic" lol.
