Chicago has about as many homicides as the country of Japan. Maybe somebody should do something about that? The people running the city certainly aren't.
New account and obvious troll. Cities with the highest homicide rates are are in red states. Such as New Orleans, Memphis and St. Louis. Regardless, you don’t threaten war and send military in to invade and threaten your own citizens and political opposition. Thats what fascists do.
And for people who claim to be about states rights, you sure are hypocrites.
You really want to get into American homicide rate vs other countries? That debate starts and ends with guns, champ.
Japan has 40x the people.
Crime rates are falling because they skyrocketed due to George Floyd policies.
All those cities are run by democrats, and have been for decades.
But really, it isn't a Democrat/Republican issue, for the most part.
Again, the highest violent crime rates hail from red states. It’s against the Constitution to send military to invade your own country. Get lost, MAGAt troll.

Again, those are all Democrat run cities.
But you also omittedBaltimore and Detroit (#2 and #4 respectively), because they dont fit your (incorrect) view.
But I will.also repeat, it has little to do with who is in control, Republicans or Democrat. The fact that all high crime cities are Democrat run is a red herring.

Again, this is because of Democrat run cities.

You can repeat yourself all you want. Those cities are in red states with red senators, congressmen and governors. You make no sense with your contradictory sentences either, saying it has little to do with who is in control then trying to pin it on Dems.
It’s unconstitutional to declare war on your own citizens.
Los Angeles and Cook Counties are also the two most populated counties in the country. When adjusted for population, Cook County’s 15.8 homicides per 100,000 people ranked 17th among 63 large-central metro US counties with reliable data, and Los Angeles County’s 6.8 ranked 37th.
I mean, why? Does Calgarypuck move at such a blistering speed that the thread is going to get bogged down? The guy twisted himself into a knot in about two posts, there isn't anything concerning here.

Congressmen and Senators have no say, they are federal level. The governor has a little bit with state laws, but it mostly comes down to mayor, police chief, judges, DAs -- who are all elected locally, not state wide.

Nah, you guys just aren't getting it. The fact that all high crime cities are controlled by democrats is essentially meaningless. Democrats also control lots of low crime cities in New England and the north west.

Because you guys constantly waste your time debating with their bad-faith arguments instead of having intelligent conversations. You're playing chess with pigeons.

What was in bad faith?
I honestly think leftists dont care about solutions to obvious societal issues. They just care about how morally superior they can look.
I’m not sure what the motivation was. There’s been very little press on this incident.
Have you seen the video?
Most murders in the US don’t get any press at all. I guess I’m just not sure why this one out of the 20,000+ is more important to discuss. If it’s related to ICE or the US letting Russian agents operate against Ukrainian refugees, then it makes sense. Or if you want to discuss how stupidly dangerous the US is overall, then that makes sense too.
I didn’t watch the video, but she was young and attractive, so my guess is BF, ex-BF, or someone who wanted to be her BF that she shot down. That’s who kills most women.
