Looks like I am down to the Penguins and their seamless transitions of "generational talents".
I really hope they do not get McKenna... after watching Bedard go to the Blackhawks to take the reigns over from Kane/Toews it would suck to see the Penguins be able to pick up their Crosby replacement so fast.
Sens are leading the voting this round, which I find odd. They really haven't done anything to earn the votes. I would probably put them in my bottom 5 of dislike (Bruins, Senators, Kraken, Hurricane, Capitals?).

Went with Carolina strictly for branding reasons. Going from the Whalers to the Hurricanes was probably the biggest aesthetic downgrade in sports history.

While I hope Pittsburgh doesnt get McKenna, it would be even worse if Chicago did. Voting NYI still then Philly as they are usually boring Flames matchups to see in person.

Went with Seattle. I just don't like them for some reason.

I'm finding it hard to hate any of these teams because they're all just "meh" to me

So, what are the possible reasons people might vote for the remaining teams?
Boston Bruins - former Flames in Lindholm and Big Z, I guess? Marchand is gone who some people hate, so wouldn't be him.
Buffalo Sabres - because they suck? I dunno, honestly...
Carolina Hurricanes - looks like because their logo is worse than the Whalers?
Columbus Blue Jackets - how can you hate them? Johnny and Monny?
Florida Panthers - many people hate that Bennett and Chucky have found so much success there, so I guess there's that, though I love both guys...
Nashville Predators - super boring team 6-7 years ago?
New Jersey Devils - their GM claimed that Conroy changed the trade terms for a deal they had in place, which Conroy denies
New York Islanders - because they are one of the older dynasties?
Ottawa Senators - because they're a Canadian team?
Philadelphia Flyers - can't think of anything...
Pittsburgh Penguins - jealousy of them getting MA Fleury, Sid, Malkin, Letang? Oh! Former Leafs GM is one for sure for many...
Seattle Kraken - no idea, I guess Tanev is tough to play against... though I think he's with WPG now right?
Washington Capitals - politics and OV breaking Gretzky's record?

GOAT!

New Jersey created the dead puck era, if we’re talking about #neverforget.
Also, Scott Stevens killed Kariya and Lindros.

So, what are the possible reasons people might vote for the remaining teams?
Boston Bruins - Stopped Van and they helped burn their city down
Buffalo Sabres - meh, honestly almost feel sorry for them.
Carolina Hurricanes - Stopped Oilers from winning the cup
Columbus Blue Jackets - Johnny and Monny, loved Rick Nash, feel sorry for em
Florida Panthers - stopped Edmonton twice from a cup
Nashville Predators - love the games against em, great fans great city
New Jersey Devils - loved Brodeur / and those D men, especially Rafalski
New York Islanders - Boring and I honestly believe worse run than Buffalo
To me they are the most boring Flames game to ever watch, and it’s always on a Saturday morning which I hate, except for Philly morning games, they’re fun.
Ottawa Senators - so neutral,
Philadelphia Flyers - Flames of the East
Pittsburgh Penguins - Love Crosby
Seattle Kraken - new team, fun city to watch a game in. Neutral
Washington Capitals - Love Ovechkin, other than that, neutral
