Of course, that makes complete sense.

Just spent the week in St John’s to watch my son at the Canada Summer Games.

Average daily temps 30, lots of humidity

St John’s rocked

Only saw small hail here once. Far less thunderstorms than the City, maybe due to altitude?

Not all thunderstorms have hail, but all hailstorms have thunder.

Normally if I'm in my office at this time without the blind partially drawn, I'm getting blinded by the sun at my desk. Today though it looks more like the Eye of Sauron, kinda eerie being able to stare straight at the sun

I'll take a few hours of fast melting snow if it clears the air of this crap.

I also hate snow but I'd still take that over Environment Canada telling you it's a hazard to be outside.

Plus, if the bugs are still as bad as when I was in Calgary a few weeks ago, the snow would help with that too.

Bring on some snow!

It's too bad, I was hoping we'd get one year in Calgary where smoke wasn't going to be a thing. We almost made it.

A few warm days in Spring, wet ass summer, and now, what was going to be a perfecting mid 20s, Fall has turned into a smoke show thus far.

What a season.

Are the temperature readings for today (28 degrees) flat out wrong, or does the smoke make that big of a difference? Was out in shorts and tshirt to pick up my kid from school, and it definitely didn't feel anything close to 28
