Yes, I do live in Florida. I have several friends in NYC (Mamdani supporters all) who are hearing the same buzz we heard during the pandemic. “Oh, it’s time to move to “free” Florida! It’s not an exaggeration to say that half my block bailed in 2021, sold their homes over asking price within days. Mostly to people from NY/NJ.
I suppose there are many that will want to “escape” Mamdani. Many have this idea that they’re going to end up in Florida at some point anyway.
If Trump follows through on his I don't care what the courts or the city of Chicago says and sends in the troops like he says he is going to it's going to be a #### show. I wonder if he is trying to start a civil war so he can cancel elections.
Trump is awarding Mayor Rudy the Presidential Medal of Freedom. It is just so amazing to watch all this actually happen, unfortunately it’s so damn scary too.
Can Medals of Freedom be rescinded by some future sane president?

I love how the weekend where Mamdani ran a scavenger hunt across NYC that was intended to have people explore the city, learn about it's history, and get people to walk, ride, and take transit as part of that journey (####, that sounds so awesome!) he's being labeled as some commie terrorist who hates America.

missdpuck, this is obviously not directed at you, but at all the naysayers. Mamdani is definitely overpromising, but he's doing what people are BEGGING of politicians.. just do stuff for people. Everything on the right is about taking from people.

The highest official of the US government has officially declared the medal of freedom much better than the medal of honor.
