I'm big, so if someone reclines in front of me when I'm in economy class, it's awful for me. But I'm sure there are many guys jealous of my height, so I take it in stride.

I’m more jealous of your modesty.

I’m ok with people in front reclining their seat.
What pisses me off though, is when they constantly adjust their seats. Pick a ####ing lane.
Trying to watch something on inflight entertainment or even my iPad is annoying as #### if you keep moving the seat.
I’m on a relatively long, for a Ryanair flight tomorrow. The legroom ain’t great, but at least their seats are in a fixed position.

I have the same problem. My knees are going to be pressed into the back of your seat either way, so recline, don’t recline, I don’t really care. It’s uncomfortable either way. And usually for the person who has to feel my knees in their back, too.
Going to disagree with Fuzz though, I’ll yank on seat in front of me or push on my seat to stand up if I feel like it. They’re both half mine.

The vast majority don't recline for that reason.

I'm sorry this is some bull####.
The amount a modern seat reclines does cause you to need to yank on the headrest like some special needs monkey when you get up.
I take 2-4 flights a month.
Reclined seats aren't a massive obstruction.

If you fly WestJet get the Extended Comfort. The row right behind Premium has so much space way more than an exit row. If you fly enough seat selection is free, I don't pay.
Seats 4A or 4F, only way to go.

No
Pushing on your seat had no effect on people around you.
Yanking on the seat in front affects the person in that seat.
It is rude.

I’m confused, does your company prohibit you from upgrading your seat with your own money or are you saying the company won’t pay for an upgraded seat? I find the cheapest way to upgrade is to book the ticket, then upgrade to economy plus or first class through the app, the comfort, or lack of physical pain, can be worth the out of pocket expense.
Another option is to wait until only premium seats are available and insist on that flight. A win for you, not so much for the company.

6Ft is the optimal height for a man.
I can look down at short people and laugh at the tall people.

Of course they can't stop you from spending your own money. But I'm cheap and complaining on a hockey forum about you nasty seat reclining scumbags, is free.

Video games which bastardize the concept of being in early access / beta testing. I don’t understand why it will take multiple years to bring a game into full development.
Path of Exile 2 is going down this road now where a moderate portion of the campaign is available and it’s coming up on 2 years of being “early access”.

I might fly once a year, if that and my experience was on a Delta Airlines flight from Calgary to Minneapolis. I also don't have the same strength in my knees (I'm 67 years old) that I had when I was younger. Being in tight confined spaces like airline seats I sometimes have to grab onto something to get up and that time was the headrest.

What is this nonsense, yanking the head of the seat in front of you to get out of yours....
Either stand up by using your legs and engaging your core like a normal person, or if the seat is reclined, push up on your own armrests.
Edit: I'll make an exception for old people.

Some healthy wanker walked down the aisle today just kinda man pawing every aisle headrest. Went past the one in front of me, and his grubby paws slimed all over my screen and paused my display. WTF has happened to humanity?

Or you guys are fat fatas, you can be 19 feet tall and no need to grab that seat but if you are a fat fatas, you need the leverage. Tall is no excuse. Fata fata is. And triplet pregnant mom.
If you need that head rest, fat fata. M over E and I.
How many tall people do you see in the nursing home. Zero. Genetically weak.

I’d love to be a bear. Unfortunately it’s just back issues on account of being tall. A bad back under 40 isn’t quite as cute.
Don’t project your anxiety about dying early onto me, man. I’m not worried about the nursing home.

I'm not gonna yank on a fully reclined seat, but I'm definitely going to lean my forearms on it and treat it like it's partially mine. The recliner knows what they're doing... I feel like it's expected.
