It you know, the rules could actually be enforced and we wouldn't have to deal with the banned poster. Does it not defeat the purpose of banning someone and having rules here in the first place if we all just ignore him? And if we all ignore him someone is just going to quote him. Cali said to use the reporting function, that doesn't work. They don't care about baiting or troll posts, it's been done. So let the inmates run the asylum, see if I care. Are we done now? Can we get back on topic? BigThief can do what he wants, nobody clearly cares.
Right, they're not going to do anything about it, so you need to self-regulate your responses. Read something you don't like? Move on. We all do that all the time.
Also, it appears to me that you have a very low threshold for what you consider to be baiting or trolling posts, and I think that's why you get so worked up. Perhaps it would be better to save the outrage for only the most egregious examples of what you are talking about, rather than letting anything at all frustrate you to the point of ranting about it.
I get it, the world can be frustrating, but we can only govern ourselves. It's one of the principles of stoic philosophy, and I think you might benefit from reading about it. Here's a link to The Discourses by Epictetus. It's a few bucks and some time out of your life, but I think you could benefit tremendously from this.

Some guys have told me to kill myself without getting reported and y’all are talking about banning people who use a different username than the one they used to or just generally annoy you?
Toughen up kids.

Imagine your entire self worth being tied to an online persona you created, which was so false and fragile that you had an absolute meltdown whenever someone questioned it.
I say this with absolutely no malice, that guy seriously needs to get help. This is a dangerous way to live.
Some fellas here would really benefit from hanging up the keyboard and taking a break from the massochist Olympics. Especially those who have become unhealthily attached to this place, opening it up to harming their mental health.
Message boards and especially CP are not accurate representations of how people socialize in real life. Many people air their worst impulses and statements are constantly misconstrued and made personal. If 90% of communication is comprised of tone and body language, then how much is being missed here on a daily basis? Not to mention simple manners completely going out the window.
If any significant amount of your socialization is happening here or on other boards, think about how thats rewiring your brain to interact with and percieve other people. Probably not good.
It may be good for the regular "combatants" here to devote more time to socializing IRL to remind themselves that forums should be taken a lot less seriously. Maybe with people who they enjoy the company of. I dont understand getting home and immediately wanting to go butt heads online with someone you wouldnt give the time of day to.
I've phased it out a decent amount and its been nice.

Post without reading responses? 99% of the people that post in this thread have nothing important to add, including me.
I only read your posts and the other insiders here, or people that post breaking news. I’m sure I am not alone.
Frankly, its a failure of imagination that Bingo has not monetized your posts.
You could probably join forces with the other insiders and creat a TikTok or similar that would generate at least as much views as Flamesnation.
Just leave CP behind, your audience will follow. I’m sure of it.
I don’t think Andersson needs to be a distraction at all. We all know he’s getting traded. But if he keeps giving us top 2/4 minutes while allowing Parehk sheltered assignments until mid season/trade deadline the Flames will build the bidding process to ensure a good return while gifting Parekh bigger responsibilities once he’s benefited on zone starts and has a feel for the best league in the world (from junior). Andersson will be remembered as a great value draft pick, loyal teammate, entertaining and enigmatic personality, and him getting his bag doesn’t harmonize with the financial planning of a future Flames contender.

If it's helpful - in Hindi, if you add an 'h' at the end of a consonant (here that means 'kh' instead of 'k'), you are voicing the same letter but aspirated (like, with an expulsion of air). Basically, adding an 'h' after 'k' makes it a breathy 'k' and the effect is similar with other consonants. Putting the 'h' in front, however, makes two noises, one for the 'h,' and one for the consonant that follows.
In this case, it's Parekh, because it's just one sound. Maybe that'll help you remember, or maybe that's just a whole lotta useless info!
