Yeah, I’m sure most rappers wear the jersey for the awesome flaming C design, and probably scarcely know who the Calgary Flames even are- except for Snoop, who’s an actual hockey fan.

Homeland Season 2 Ep 1. Carrie is going undercover in Beirut and has be given an alias with a backstory as a Calgary resident. Her handler drilled/prepped her by asking her to name the Calgary hockey team. Carrie says if asked she’d just say “I don’t follow hockey”. Handler tells her that answer wouldn’t fly as everyone in Calgary knows the team name is the Flames.
