School shooting 2 kids killed 17 injured.
Quote:
There have been more than 140 shootings at U.S. elementary and secondary schools this year, according to the K-12 School Shooting Database.
U.S. President Donald Trump said he had been briefed on the shooting and said the FBI was on the scene. “Please join me in praying for everyone involved!” he said on social media.

Again, back to Death of Stalin... Vance is Malenkov. Not sure who is Khrushchev, if anyone, but Vance is DEFINITELY Malenkov.

Rubio is Khrushchev, he has totally sold his soul because he thinks he leverage some orange shots to the mouth into taking over the cult when Trump dies.

Sandy Hook was the line America crossed where they care more about access to guns than children dying.
Deplorable country.

The only issue is Musk already gave up on his new party, and he and the Technocracy are close with Vance, they've been grooming him. With control over a lot of the media and social networks, they can easily manipulate the news they contri, and Vance can shut down the ones they don't. I first thought Vance would be a flacid replacement, but with those powers behind him they could be a real threat, including to what is left of the Republicans.

Oh no Vance is still a flaccid replacement, but thats the point, he'll do whatever Papa Thiel tells him to. Trump is a maniac so even if it's totally by accident he'll actually #### Thiel over, Vance is a bitch boy so he'll do whatever he's told.

Where did you see that?
No mention of that in the AP story, About the Shooter section
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said the shooter — armed with a rifle, shotgun and pistol — approached the side of the church and shot through the windows toward the children inside before killing himself in the parking lot.
He said the shooter was in his early 20s, did not have an extensive known criminal history and acted alone. He did not release more details.
A law enforcement official told The Associated Press authorities have identified the shooter as Robin Westman. That official was not authorized to discuss the ongoing investigation and spoke on condition of anonymity.
Former Kentucky state lawmaker Bob Heleringer told The Associated Press he is Westman’s uncle, but had not seen him in a few years.
“He was my nephew, and I wish he had shot me instead of innocent schoolchildren,” Heleringer said during a phone interview. “I barely knew him. They (Robin’s family) never lived in Louisville. They lived in Minnesota.”

I think a better lens is it became visible to outsiders.
American culture has and is this. It's a pressure cooker of unimaginable proportion to most people outside its borders.
It's bread a me first attitude, which means anything that appears in your favor is good, any appears bad is bad.
If you look at what moves needles down there the most economy, crime, racism/culture, and COVID all do so because they move the needle for the most people, and are me vs them issues.
Yes school shootings are crime, but for their population they are still rare for people to experience. The trade off is losing something (guns), that someone else will get (criminals/government). So its not a needle mover, and likely will not be. Its shouting into a black void.
If you read this far, know I am not endorsing this, it's just tiring to expect different and be disappointed.

It does appear to be true that the shooter was trans.
https://www.rollingstone.com/culture...ng-1235416523/
Quote:
At a press briefing, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara confirmed that the shooter is also dead, having died by suicide in the rear of the church. The suspected shooter was identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman, per police. She reportedly carried three weapons — a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol — all of which were used during the shooting.
According to court records obtained by Star-Tribune, Westman’s mother applied to change her child’s name in 2019 from Robert to Robin because Robin identified as female. Westman’s mother signed off on the change because Robin was a minor at the time.

I think this is the 2nd mass shooter in just over the past couple of years that identified as trans, which won't help either. They'll blame anything before they blame gun laws. If anything, Republicans will probably want better training for gun owners given the relatively low kill rate this time.

What a broken country. There is no "safe" state. I wonder how many parents would think twice of enrolling their students in elementary schools down south? If I was a parent I would seriously consider home schooling as the only viable option. What a reprehensible place to raise children.
