Further cementing that I cannot forecast anything effectively. I was sure the price would scare people off. I acknowledged I'm a cheap person, but still felt that number was crazy. Those are great numbers for the industry in general.

Looking at a gaming update. Moving up from a base PS4. My sister has gamepass and the price for access to that library seems ridiculous.
Is it best to upgrade to PS5 or should I get something else with gamepass in mind? Do I need a new gen Xbox or is there a better way to do it?
Any recommendations welcome
It depends how much you like Playstation's exclusives. Playstation Plus isn't as good as Game Pass though since Game Pass has day 1 releases. If you were set on moving to Xbox I would get a Series X since it's more powerful than the S.
I do PS5+PC+Game Pass PC which I don't pay for because I just build up Microsoft Reward Points and redeem them for a month.

Unless you are married to Sony exclusives, there's nothing out there that comes close to Gamepass for quality and quantity of games at the price point.

Okay, but why? If you can get a Xbox Series X for $730 and Gamepass will have most everything you'll want to play, then why build a PC? The video card alone on a PC will cost close to the same as the Xbox.
I love PC gaming you so you don't have to convince me, but the value proposition these days isn't great for them.
