Weakened is relative. I can live with high quality following epic quality. I refuse to believe that another season would be anything less than excellent. Clearly right now her heart's not in it so she would have to get to a point where she really wants to do it which is why I was thinking about something more down the road.

Or she believes she has told the story she wanted to tell.

I'm will to trust her, she knows the story better than us.

Do you enjoy revenge? How about an unstoppable fighting machine being forced back into his previous life? Yeah and what about subtitles? You love all three of those? Perfect then you should watch Mercy For None.

New HBO mini-series Task comes out this week. It's by the creator of Mare of Eastown and stars Mark Ruffalo. I hadn't heard much about it, but definitely looks promising.

After today's events in Minnesota, I wonder if you still feel the same way.

This is a common event in the U.S. I'm glad they highlighted it, and since it's supposed to be in "real time" it needed to be quite long to be authentic. The way they handled it like a MASH unit in a military combat zone was well illustrated.

Peacemaker quietly returned last week. Strong start to season 2.

Like a lot of things, better to end a show too soon than too late.

Ok. I was WAAAAAY late to the party on Peacemaker.

I binged the whole 1st season last week. I loved it. Love the tone, the crassness, and characters are hilariously loveable. And John Cena is a legitimate actor. Like damn, does he ever have range.

But this isn't a story about me binge watching it. This is a story of how I came to realize there was show (or forgot).

I was watching Superman with my 11yo last week, and Peacemaker made that cameo. I was like cool, from what i recall, there's a movie, we should watch it together.

I go and search it up, realize it's a TV show, think, "sweet, i get to watch 12 hours of this with my kid".

Episode 1. Ok, swearing, innuendos, gore. A little more than he's seen before, but nothing that i'm overly concerned about. My wife upstairs just listening.

Then the scene when he takes home the chick from the bar....

I turned it off so fast, proceeded to apologize to my kid, while at the same time, my wife is sternly asking "What in the hell am I watching with our 11 year old".

Yep. Parent of the year right here.

But still an amazing show i binge watched as soon as he went to bed. lol

That’s like when I was watching Pan’s Labyrinth with my kid when he was nine. Had to turn that off real quick. Good thing he never saw that Pale Man character. Probably the most scary thing of all time. Not a kids movie. My older guy was more sensitive and hated violence.
