There are no saviours coming to save this bullpen. Garcia is absolutely not coming back. Yesavage has no experience in the bullpen and shouldn’t have the pressure to fix this mess.
Going to need the guys to grow some balls.

One other annoyance - you can tell when Hoffman is bad 2-3 pitches in
They should have immediately gotten someone up , and had him out before the 3 run HR

Fine Hoffman gets the goat horns tonight. But he’s been lights out the last two weeks since the Dodger game. And his stat line has him giving up 3 hits and 1 run in 10 games since July 30th before tonight.
Schneider keeping a tiring Bassit in the extra batters and giving up the 2 run HR wasn’t smart and started the momentum swing.

Absolutely. It's like when he walked 5 and kept looking into the dugout. When he hit the guy you could tell Hoffman didn't want to pitch. Dude is a loser. Doesn't have that closer mentality.

So now 5 runs in 11 games
Which is exactly how his season has gone . He is horrible 1 every 5/6 games
He has a 4.5 era with a 1 whip and .200 BAA from both sides . Most of the time he’s really good .
When’s he’s bad he’s really bad

Man. 4 games up and sliding. The month of August has been tough. Losing a ton of games to teams that they should beat. The Brewers come to town this weekend. Meanwhile the Sox and Yanks have the Pirates and White Sox respectively. Things could be very tight by the end of the month.
