I didn’t know they were rainbow butt monkeys, I think I actually liked them at some point. I think it’s a detriment changing. Mind you the former is a pretty lame name as well.

Banks RGMG today.
Brings back warm memories of hitting the arcade with a fresh roll of quarters.

A memory that definitely does not grind my gears.

What I love about this thread is that we get stuck on a topic for many pages you forget what the thread is actually about until someone complains about getting twonies and you instantly think, "WTF are you talking about, are you lost?"

Matthew Good, I Mother Earth, Tea Party and Finger Eleven all coming in the next couple months. It’s like much music circa 1998 all over again.

Grinds my gears just how rude people are these days especially to people working customer service. Every morning I walk a few blocks to McDonalds for my morning coffee and have to witness customers being total #######s to the underpaid workers that are doing their very best under difficult circumstances of being overly busy during the breakfast rush. I just watched a guy that couldn't get his order right, changing his mind three times (bacon, no egg to bacon & hash brown, then no hash brown and no egg) getting upset with the girl that was just following his orders, changings as he requested, repeating it to him while having the patience of a saint. People suck.

All I got to say is that IME's first two albums were fantastic.

Absolutely concur. Show a little grace to people who are hustling their asses off for minimum wage. I hate how society has degraded to such a point.

Also for God's sake, have your ####ing order ready when you get up to the till you jagoff.

They should treat customer service like some countries treat the military and make it mandatory to do one year of service. Would probably fix a lot of problems.

It would teach people what exactly the person behind the counter (or your server, or whatever role) is actually responsible for and what they can actually control vs what they can’t, teach them what kind of crap they go through in a typical day, and teach people valuable skills like how to be pleasant and kind even if you have to fake it and how to deal with bullies who pick on people smaller than them and, in turn, how to enrage those people for your own entertainment without doing anything wrong.

A real benefit to society, it would be.

I have a running theory that it is about power and control. People who feel powerless or don't control the context of their lives take it out on people in customer service.

I met Danny Pintauro at Calaway Park. He was the kid from Who’s The Boss way before he got AiDS. Just happened to be there that day.

Fun fact, Red Berenson the hockey/michigan legends sister owns Calaway Park.

I keep getting this youtube ad that is an AI deepfake of Mark Carney announcing some program they're trying to get you to buy. This should not only be illegal but should result in fines to the company that created the ad, the company that ran the ad, and youtube for running the damn thing.
