It was the Ref's fault tho...

Bruno Fernandes criticised referee Chris Kavanagh for failing to "apologise" for his part in the Manchester United captain's penalty miss in Sunday's 1-1 draw at Fulham.
After placing the ball onto the penalty spot, Fernandes collided with referee Kavanagh as he walked back to start his run-up, forcing the Portugal international to re-spot the ball and start his routine again.

Brutal slide by Gordon on VVD.
Red card was warranted.

I dont know what was going through his head on that one. Just...thankfully VVD isn't overly hurt but Gordon tried to take his legs out!

Newcastle were controlling the game up to that point as well, despite Liverpool scoring.

And Gordon was playing really well...just a moment of madness.

What a bone head tackle... this one has to be effectively over now. Newcastle are going to be under a ton of pressure for their trip to Leeds now, if they manage to lose that they will be straight into crisis

For Unitied at this point I think they have a decent option of attackers...Sesko, Cunha, Mbueno, Mount, Zirkzee, Hojlund
Enough quality and depth there to get through a season. They need to sell Garnacho, Sancho, and Antony though to try to add depth in other areas.
You aren't getting through a PL season with Fernandes, Casamiro, and Ugarte are your only CM options. And defense is similarly rough relying too much on guys like Shaw and putting too much pressure on a youngster like Yoro.
They really needed enforcments through the middle of the pitch (CB and CM) and didn't really succeed in doing that.

I'd say defense is actually fine. Yoro, De Ligt, Heaven, Maguire have all been fine, and at some point, you'd hope Lisandro Martinez is fit again. No idea why Shaw is playing, but he can't stay fit anyway.
Midfield is the issue. I will not disrespect Bruno for turning down the Saudi offers, but him going would have really set up United to actually build a decent midfield. He's a terrible fit in a double pivot and ironically he'll be one of the biggest contributors to Amorim's eventual downfall.
Oh, and Sesko will starve up front without service just like Hojlund did. Meanwhile, people will be shocked when Hojlund turns into a great striker at Napoli.

Been looking more like Liverpool are down a man in the last 10 or so, credit Newcastle for the fight.

How are you all watching this? Don't you bums have jobs?
Newcastle have to feel slighted here if they don't get at least a point. They've dominated, even being a man down.

Well thats three 2-0 leads in a row blown by Liverpool, so yeah that defense is gonna need some reinforcements. Might need another new midfielder too, because the early returns on Wirtz are pretty smelly.

The Children are our Future!
Newcastle have to hold their heads high on this one, they had Liverpool on the ropes from long sessions of time and put up a hell of a fight.
But time to open the chequebook and buy Guehi. Gotta get Konate off the pitch. Guehi can take Konate's accent. Konate's head isn't here.

Exposed without Mac Allister putting in his usual double shift. The guy just doesn't stop running. He'll be back next match and they'll be fine as long as his wife doesn't give birth again anytime soon.
