The problem with the LOS link is we're literally in the woods. The advice I've gotten from IT people is just run the damn cable. The Rogers service guy also suggested that Cat6 would be fine up to 330ft... I was going to use this stuff.

The internet is now up and running at the main building at 900mbps so all I have to do is get it down there.

330 feet is Cat6a, not Cat6 which is half of that (it's down to the extra shielding of Cat6a cable). You'll probably be fine with Cat6, but I tend to err on the side of caution with this sort of thing.

Gotcha, LOS would not work so well when it's getting blocked by trees and such. Again, you could do high powered wireless mesh APs, but then again, a cable works too.

OK my research is showing that the 55m speed limit on Cat6 is for 10GBPS speeds and it should be fine for the full 330ft at 1gbps...
