I'm entirely convinced that not being able to take water past airport security in ####ing 2025 is part of the giant scheme by Big Water Corp so that you buy super expensive bottles at the airport. Or they force you to go through a maze to find water filling stations. The entire industry will collapse if we allow water through security!

You're telling me in this day and age, there's no technology that exists that can detect regular water vs something else??

A long time ago, when i worked in the advertising agency, we had The Back Alley briefly as a client, including doing up posters for an upcoming concert with Kim Mitchell. The owner told us he had no interest in Kim playing there, but Kim begged him to give him a date so he wouldn't have to "play the Rock" (referring to the old Shamrock hotel). Imagine begging to play the Back Alley.

That’s the one perk of a US city. Ya ya F the US. I love that their radio plays different stuff. Every time I have wonder and amazement they are playing some song. I’d never hear this in Calgary.

I still can’t get my Spotify family account to work in the car, so it spontaneously jump to Vance Joy because my wife is playing it at the house, I never want to hear Vance Joy ever. So I use a free account that is riddled with ads. I can’t seem to attach my account to the one I’m fataing paying for.

That’s another gear grinder, how much collective humankind waste is spent retrieving passwords and usernames? Fata off with texting my phone a code. Whatever dickface in IT who came up with that needs to be shot in the face.


Why have I never had to change my password on my Royal bank brokerage account but my Subway app needs a change monthly.

I recently spent 3 weeks on Vancouver Island with access to only terrestrial FM radio in the car. For some reason all five stations that I could access were stuck in a time trap of BC based artists. It seemed every single song was by Loverboy or Chilliwack or Bryan Adams or Nellie Furtado or 54-40 or Prism or Odds or Matt Good or Payolas or Barney Bentall or Tom Cochrane. They sure like to play their homegrown stuff.

The most annoying part of that was that this wasn’t for an actual event. It was a plan that some guys had that never got to fruition. Kind of like the shoe bomber, who got caught and for a couple decades we all had to take our shoes off for the theatre of them protecting everyone.
