I almost picked MTL, but 40-odd years of futility for both of our teams -- not to mention the removal of the NYE classic -- has somewhat softened the rivalry we once had.

I went with Detwah because I was a massive Nords/Avs fan during the Sakic/Forsberg years. Almost went with Dallas because of the same reason. Actually, just now thinking about all the punchable players on the Stars in the 90s and 00s makes me want to switch the vote. Although a lot of those players went on to join the Wings too (Hatcher, you clown), so I think my vote is good the way it is.


Edit: GDI, I didn't see TBL was still there. I'd switch my vote to them if I could.

I get the whole rival Canadian fanbase aspect of disliking other organizations like the Jets and Canadians, but I really hate the Rangers as an organization.

I dislike how they are destination for free agents and I hate even more how a prospect like Fox forced his way out of the organization that drafted him to go to the Rangers.

It feels like they play the game on easy mode and the only consolation is that they often become so vet heavy that they fail to capitalize on all the star power they acquire.

Agreed. I don't love the Canadiens, and I agree with all the comments about their fans being annoying. But I don't look at a MTL game coming up on the schedule and think '#### those guys' like I used too.

They'll be in my top 10 for sure but a few divisional rivals, like Anaheim last round, have passed them

On the world stage Phillie fans are the worst regarded, followed by Florida and NYR.
